We pride ourselves on loving and supporting our entire community and work closely with St Chad’s Parish Church. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that develops the whole child and challenges them in order to achieve their God-given potential.

2023-2024 will certainly be an exciting time here at St Chad’s, with new initiatives such as our Learning Futures project: enhancing education through the use of digital technology to bring an inspirational and highly ambitious education experience to all children.

I passionately believe that all children deserve the very best education and care and I am committed to ensuring that we provide that here at St Chad’s C of E Primary, in partnership with parents and carers. OUR COMMUNITY LINKS…ST CHAD’S PARISH CHURCH

We are privileged to be part of the parish of St Chad’s. This gives us wonderful opportunities to work closely with church and Reverend Rod Clark (Rector). We regularly worship in church together, taking part in Eucharist services as a school family. Harvest, Christmas, Easter, Mothers’ & Fathers’ Day are all greatly celebrated as well as having our ‘big send off’ for Year Six too! We also take part in church events such as the Christmas and Summer fayres, art exhibitions, Samaritans Purse and Lent ‘Acts of Kindness to mention but a few.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
