Parents

Working with parents is very important to us here at St Chad’s. Building strong, respectful and collaborative relationships are crucial. We have an open door policy whereby parents can make appointments to meet or call class teachers. I am on the gate most mornings and evenings to welcome children in and say goodbye to them at the end of the day so please do ask if you need an appointment or contact the office. We have many events where families are very welcome to attend. Below is a list of just some of them:

Weekly Celebration Worships on a Friday Morning

Thanksgiving Service

Messy Harvest, Christmas & Easter

Parents/Carers & Grandparent Lunches

Harvest, Christmas, Mothers Day, Easter & Fathers Day Services in Church

Parent Workshops

Afternoon Tea

Sports Day & Picnic

Summer Proms & PFA Summer Fayre

If you are a parent or carer of a SEND child

We have a strong ethos about caring and supporting our parents with a SEND child. We recognise how very difficult it can be parenting but especially if you have a child with a special educational need or disability. Please talk to us about any difficulties you may be having or any support that you may need. We want to support you in anyway that we can. Below is a link that has been provided by Staffordshire County Council to provide further local and county wide support.
