At St Chad’s, we strive to challenge ourselves, having faith in our ability and delighting in learning so that we may flourish and discover our why. We reflect on life’s big questions and grow each day in wisdom to be able to impact the community and the world. St Chad’s is a thriving, happy family at the heart of the community and our Christian values shine brightly, demonstrating kindness and honesty to others and ourselves. We want every child to experience the awe and wonder in school life and be inspired and committed to reach their God-given potential.

Faith

We believe in the power of faith to guide us in our journey of understanding, compassion, and purpose. We welcome children of all backgrounds, and we embrace the rich tapestry of beliefs and cultures within our school. We encourage the exploration of faith and spirituality, fostering respect for diversity.

Kindness

Kindness is the cornerstone of our school community. We teach our children the importance of treating others with empathy and respect. We encourage acts of kindness, both big and small, and strive to create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance. Our aim is for every child to leave our school with a compassionate heart.

Honesty

We instil in our children the value of truthfulness, integrity, and responsibility. We believe that by fostering honesty, we equip our children with the moral strength to make ethical choices and become trustworthy, courageous citizens.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
